Laura Zlatos (Book) is a Pittsburgh-born, Brooklyn-based playwright and librettist. Her plays include “Show Trial” (2024 Jane Chambers Prize, finalist), "The Blue Whale" (Shawnee Playhouse; 2024 S.O.P.S. Dramatic Play Winner; 2022 Todd McNerney Playwriting Award; 2021 Marsha A. Croyle Award, 2019 Dr. R.J. Rodriguez Emerging Playwrights Contest), "The Even More Lamentable Tragedy of Lavinia" (2020 Women are Funny Prize), "Happily After Ever" (59E59 Theaters; Bloomington Playwrights Project; Edinburgh Fringe Festival; 2017 Woodward/Newman Drama Award; The Advocate's “Top 10 NY Theater of 2016,” Honorable Mention), "Three Hours" (HERE Arts Center), and the musical "A Problem with the Pattersons" (2023 CITSTS Emerging Writers Residency; finalist; 2020 O'Neill Music Theatre Conference, semifinalist) with lyricist/composer Andre Catrini. Laura was a playwriting fellow with Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company and a resident playwright with the Exquisite Corpse Company. Ben Thornewill (co-composer & lyricist) is the lead singer and pianist of the piano-pop trio Jukebox The Ghost. Over the past two decades, the band has released eight studio albums, performed on multiple late-night TV shows, and played nearly a thousand shows—including major festivals—building a devoted fanbase and regularly selling out venues across the country. Beyond his work with Jukebox The Ghost, Ben releases solo music under his own name. His album Quiet At The End Of The Day has garnered millions of streams, led by the single “Songbirds.” His viral project, Names Into Music, transforms people’s names into unique, personalized compositions. A classically trained pianist and composer, Ben is currently developing two musicals while also working as a film composer (Egghead & Twinkie), session pianist (Sting, Ingrid Michaelson), music producer, and arranger. Coyle Girelli (co-composer & lyricist) is a British recording artist, singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Formerly fronting alternative rock bands Your Vegas and most recently The Chevin, he released his debut solo album “Love Kills” in late 2018, sophomore album “Funland” in 2022 featuring single "Do You Wanna Dance?" and third solo album “Museum Day” in late 2023. His fourth solo album is scheduled for release in the summer of 2025. He co-wrote songs for award-winning, record-breaking French musicals ‘Robin Des Bois’ (2013) and ‘Les Trois Mousquataries’ (2016.) Josh Sobel / FutureHome (Producer) is a multimedia multi-disciplinary development and production incubator dedicated to leaving the world more hopeful than they found it, and was part of the Tony-winning producing team of Appropriate feat. Sarah Paulson. Additional credits include Broadway’s Gutenberg! The Musical! feat. Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells (Tony Nominee / Drama Desk Nominee) and the box-office hit revival of The Wiz feat. Wayne Brady, along with the current UK tour of hit parody Hold On To Your Butts by New York company Recent Cutbacks. Josh is also a decorated director, dramaturg / development consultant, and educator, and was named one of Newcity’s “Players 2019: The Fifty People Who Really Perform for Chicago”. He has had the privilege of working with Avery Brooks (American History X, Julie Taymor’s The Tempest) and John De Lancie (Star Trek: TNG), and his work has sold out at Steppenwolf Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe, where FutureHome’s Awake & Narcoleptic with Sarah Albritton was named a Playbill Pick by Playbill Editor-in-Chief Diep Tran. Prior to FutureHome Josh served as Artistic Director of Haven Chicago (2014-2019) and Associate Director of “Theatermakers” at the O’Neill National Theater Institute (2010-2012), with additional roles and credits at Victory Gardens Theater, Steep Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, Strawdog Theatre, CalArts, and the University of Iowa.
